NFA: National Fostering Agency

Our services

At The National Fostering Agency we understand that fostering is a service which is best offered at a local level and consequently we pride ourselves in providing 'national expertise, local care and support'.

Although many centralised functions occur through our head and regional offices, the key work involving high quality placements for individual children remains with the local foster carer. NFA foster carers are supported on a 24 hour basis by our local, professionally qualified and experienced Supervising Social workers.

Emergency duty team

NFA has several Out of Hours teams in order to provide a local service. Please call or email us and the Duty team will supply the contact number for the EDT service in your area.

Making a referal

All referrals for placements throughout the UK are handled by our four Duty Teams based at our offices in Uxbridge, Lowestoft, Cardiff and Stirling. Working closely with our regional social work staff, they are able to offer safe, local, well matched placements for foster children.
