The National Fostering Agency is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Garratt as Finance Director of NFA and its associates and subsidiaries.
Mark was previously Chief Financial Officer of Cordant Group’s recruitment division responsible for M&A activity, banking, IT, corporate finance, commercial management, legal and change management. At Cordant Mark lead and directed the professional teams for 5 successful acquisitions - one tactical, four strategic - that added more than 200% to group turnover.
Before this Mark undertook the role of Group Finance Director for the Reed Health Group (health and social care recruitment) where he headed a total team of forty and was responsible for Finance, IT and Procurement in UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
A chartered member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Mark obtained his degree in Economics and Accounting at the University of Reading.
Married, with three children and living in London Mark said “I am delighted to be joining the National Fostering Agency and contributing to the excellent work they undertake as the country’s second largest independent fostering agency throughout England, Wales and Scotland”

Mark took up his post on January 26th and is based at the NFA’s Uxbridge headquarters.
